To make it look less like a desert level, I changed not only the colors, but also the pyramids.

White mushroom house.

Yep, the wall now shoots big cannon bullets! The main reason is that the side pipes wouldn't look right.

This part isn't as hard as it seems, it'd be a lot harder if those weren't regular note blocks ...

Many cannons, many Bob-Ombs ... KABOOM!!

Bounce, bounce, bounce ... (and play some music?)

This used to be 2-1 in the original.

Have a good taste of explosives!

Not only has the level changed a lot, but it's also longer, and harder!

This place is now full of Thwomps. Beware! There's also a falling trap at the end of the level ...

It's now underground, all blue-green. Any resemblance to the original 2-5? That spiny ball on there is one "weird" enemy, originally unused in the game.

Telling the secret about this place would spoil the surprise.

The way through the level has completly changed.

This is where the Pyramid entrance used to be. The Pyramid has been destroyed and replaced by a hilly level!

There, what did I just say ... that WAS the Pyramid.

It also goes from right to left there.

The way to the level end is much longer and harder, and beware of the hidden pipe trap!

This level is harder than all the previous ones. You will need good timing and precise jumps here.

Here's what I did to the quicksand level ... it's now a autoscrolling underground level that plays the Hammer Bros battle music!

Another part of this fun level. Make sure you don't get hit by the flying cheeps-cheeps!
